QUILT BACKING
Backing pressed and squared.
Backing at least 4 inches larger than the quilt top on EACH side. That means, if you have a 60" x 72" quilt top, your backing should measure at least 68" x 80"
All threads clipped, all seams secured
Seam in your backing? Use a generous 1/2" seam allowance, and press the seam open to avoid excess bulk.
Top of your backing marked with a small piece of masking tape
